Urban Village Scooters is the only dealer in Rochester that’s devoted exclusively to scooters.
The dealership is located in Rochester’s exciting South Wedge section, at 700 South Clinton Ave. We are currently in the process of setting up the store - designing a storefront, laying out the showroom, and setting up the service bays. We have plenty of room for expansion, and are anticipating a very busy year!
The owner is me, Kurt Schweitzer. I have been an Electrical Engineer, a programmer, a consultant, a website developer, and a patent reader. Along the way I’ve started a couple of businesses with mixed success. This is my first attempt at retail sales of a tangible product.
I can’t start a business like this by myself (I’m not that crazy!) I’m getting a lot of assistance from Gary Bogue, who, aside from being a trained motorcycle mechanic, has run a typewriter repair business, developed databases, and done technical writing. Pretty eclectic, eh?
