What is a “retro” scooter?
“Retro” scooters generally are attempts to evoke “classic” styling on a scooter with a modern frame, using modern materials (plastics). Although the look of these scooters is old, you’ll find modern 4-stroke engines, automatic transmissions, and electric starters on them. Many of the scooters produced today fall into this category.
