What should I look for in gloves?
You can get by with ordinary leather gardening gloves, but I recommend motorcycle gloves, especially in the non-summer months. Motorcycle gloves are designed for gripping the controls, with non-slip palms and extra armor and padding on the backs. Whatever you use, make sure they fit well so that you have a good, positive grasp of your controls.
