How can I register my scooter so that I don’t need a motorcycle license to ride it?
There is nothing you can do. New York State’s DMV maintains a list of manufacturers and model numbers that keeps track of the class of each type of scooter. The model information is included in your scooter’s VIN code, so when you register the class will be determined from your VIN.
