My scooter won’t start!
Make sure the key is in the ignition, and turned to “on”. Make sure the emergency cut-off switch (the red switch next you your right thumb) is “on”, which usually means switched to the position closest to your thumb. Make sure you are gripping one of the brakes. (I use my left hand to grip the rear brake since my right hand is busy with the starter button and the throttle.) Press the starter button with your right thumb. If the engine is cold you may also want to roll on the throttle slightly while starting.
