Genuine Scooter Company
The Genuine Scooter Company began as one guy restoring and selling vintage Vespa and Lambretta scooters out of his garage in 1989. It blossomed into a catalog of hard-to-find vintage scooter parts. In 2002 they started manufacturing new vintage scooters (Stellas), followed in 2006 by modern, automatic scooters. The Buddy scooters have been so successful that the company has changed its tag line from “America’s Smallest Scooter Company” to “America’s Favorite Scooter Company”. Even with all their focus on modern scooters, Genuine’s Scooterworks division is still regarded as the country’s leading source of vintage scooter parts.
